Print Media
The designs below are from some of my favorite advertising campaigns. I say “favorite” because I either learned a new skill or technique, or got to experiment with a style I hadn’t tried previously.
Each design began as a flyer and was then applied to a variety of mediums: flags, event signage, banners, print materials of various sizes, digital material, and merchandise.
dozer grip
Dozer Grip is a group of MotoX enthusiasts that were looking for printing and design options for their new line of grip tapes. They wanted a range of grungy and fresh graphics that worked for any one of their bike models.
Once the grip tape designs were printed and packaged, the guys at DozerGrip returned with a request for light-weight, portable signage. The signs needed to be easy to set up and take down as they would primarily be used at various Moto-X competitions around the country. The solution was to print and cut the signs and their corresponding bases on light-weight coroplast, a corrugated and water-proof plastic material. The base pieces and the signs were contour cut to slide together, making set up and disassembly painless.
Big Bananas “Bike for MS”
The Bike MS challenge is an event that promotes awareness for people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and other forms of chronic pain. Client Kathy Baker of the “Big Bananas”, a local biking team, requested a series of grungy, old school racing themed banners and displays to decorate their tent with. This decor was meant to gain attention and hopefully raise donations for those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. The following designs won 1st place in the Bike MS “Best Tent” Competition.
